<h3><a name="top">Array Disks on a Particular Controller</a></h3>

<p>Use this window to view detailed information about the array disks attached to various
channels of a particular disk controller. For each channel, you can view information
about the enclosures and the array disks that the storage enclosure contains.</p>

<h4>Array Disk</h4>

<p>An array disk is a physical disk controlled by a redundant array of independent disks
(RAID) controller.</p>

<h4>Channels</h4>

<p>The channels on a RAID controller are numbered, for example, channel 0, channel 1, and
channel 2. A channel may or may not have an enclosure attached to it. When there are no
enclosures attached to a particular channel, the information for that channel reads: No
Array Disks Attached.</p>

<h4>Enclosure Fields</h4>

    enclosure. </td>

    <td width="103" valign="top" align="left"><strong>Product ID</strong></td>
    <td width="389" valign="top" align="left">Manufacturer's identifying information for the
    storage enclosure such as model and short description.</td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td width="103" valign="top" align="left"><strong>Asset Tag</strong></td>
    <td width="389" valign="top" align="left">A label that specifies either manufacturer's
    information or, in the case of a user-specified asset tag, customer's information (such as
    inventory number, serial number, and so on).&nbsp;</td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td width="103" valign="top" align="left"><strong>Service Tag</strong></td>
    <td width="389" valign="top" align="left">An alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies a
    storage device.</td>
  </tr>

<h4>Array Disk Fields</h4>

    <td width="389" valign="top" align="left">Type of disk; for example, SCSI, PORT,
      LUN, or ID.</td>
  </tr>

    <td width="389" valign="top" align="left">Manufacturer's identifying information for the
    array disk.</td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td width="103" valign="top" align="left"><strong>Rev</strong></td>
    <td width="389" valign="top" align="left">The revision number of the firmware on the array
    disk.</td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td width="103" valign="top" align="left"><strong>Vendor</strong></td>
    <td width="389" valign="top" align="left">Seller of the disk.</td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td width="103" valign="top" align="left"><strong>Capacity</strong></td>
    <td width="389" valign="top" align="left">Size of the disk in gigabytes (GB).</td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td width="103" valign="top" align="left"><strong>Unallocated Space</strong></td>
    <td width="389" valign="top" align="left">Amount of storage that has not been
      used on
    the disk in GB.</td>
